Tony Anderson

Tony commenced his real estate career in 1977 and in 1987 he started the franchise business Laing + Simmons Commercial as the working principal, managing over 70 staff members until he sold the business to global real estate group Cushman & Wakefield in 2008. Tony remained as managing director of Cushman & Wakefield until 2012.
For over a period of 25 years Tony lead a successful team of brokers within the Commercial / Retail / Industrial sectors of the sales and leasing markets of Sydney and NSW for private, institutional and government clients. Tony was also involved in the business development of the Corporate Real Estate portfolio lease and facilities management business within the Laing + Simmons Asset Management Division.
With over 40 years’ experience in real estate, Tony is considered one of the industry’s most respected and successful sales managers in the commercial property sector. It is his lateral thinking approach to negotiations that has enabled his clients to benefit from intelligent property solutions beyond the expected. Tony is renowned for devising effective marketing and selling strategies for difficult or complex property divestment that have produced results for his clients well above expectation.

Ole-Thomas Joergensen

Ole-Thomas holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Management (BI) and an Executive MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management, University of NSW and University of Sydney.
Ole-Thomas is Norwegian by birth and has spent most of his business working life in Australia.
One of three Founding Directors of PortNordica, key roles include asset identification, investor relations, debt funding product portfolio, corporate finance and project management of company projects.

Phil Kachoyan

Phil has over 30 years experience at the highest levels in a wide range of large and complex corporate, project, infrastructure and structured finance transactions, gained through working in major Australian financial institutions.
As well as the creation and coordination of the complex financial analysis models that underlie these transactions, Phil also has significant experience in the structuring and optimisation of such transactions, and has been responsible for all aspects of financial deal generation and implementation.
Phil is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and has sat on industry body advisory committees.

Tim Playford
Investment Manager

Tim specialises in the acquisition and management of debt-related investments. Being responsible for PortNordica’s private equity investments, Tim has organised the acquisition of more than $2bn in residential mortgage commission portfolios and $50m in unsecured MIS loans. Tim acts as a responsible manager for PortNordica’s Australian Credit Licence holding management company and in his spare time enjoys record collecting and photography.

Paul Grabowskyj
Finance Manager

Paul is the finance manager at PortNordica and brings with him experience in taxation, accounting, business advisory and self-managed superannuation funds. He is a chartered accountant with over 10 years’ experience working in both business services and commercial accounting roles. He enjoys the outdoors and spends most of his weekends either on the water or hiking around Sydney and beyond.

Kathryn Dale
Team Assistant
Diploma of Business
Kathryn possesses depth of administration experience across a variety of industries as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant and Office Manager. With a Diploma of Business from St Patrick’s Business College, Kathryn has the necessary skills and experience required to meet the demands of daily office operations. She can happily change her work priorities at a moment’s notice and always plans ahead to provide an efficient, smooth running office.
Her technical skills include Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and undertakes regular professional development to retain proficiency. Kathryn is also at ease with various databases and has a good design eye when using desktop publishing programs.
On a personal note, Kathryn enjoys travel and recently explored Cuba where she learnt to salsa dance!
