Bruce Porter

Bruce has direct and pertinent expertise in all facets of property, across all asset classes, investment products and Australia's debt and equity markets.

Bruce's career commenced as a Valuer with Rural Bank of NSW and grew from Valuer to Senior Manager Real Estate in the State Bank of NSW Institutional Banking division to real estate advisor to the Bank's credit committee.

In 1988 Bruce joined Project Finance Indosuez, where he was responsible for project evaluation, market studies analysis, arrangement, packaging and syndication of Australia's first and Largest real estate project financings.  In this period he raised $2 billion of project debt and recovered that money without impairment.

In late 1995 Bruce then a Director of Indosuez Australia Limited, joined Babcock & Brown to establish its Property Investment Banking Division.  

Bruce developed Babcock & Brown's private Funds Management business, based on an aligned co-investment model, between Babcock principal's and its private client network. During this period he was involved in $5 billion of property transactions including: acquisition of AIDC, multiple portfolios of government assets, private syndications and advisory assignments. Major project finance assignments include: No1 Martin Place (Sydney), Eureka Tower (Melb), The Westpac headquarters (Sydney).

Bruce is a founding Director on Aussie Deaf Kids Limited a charity which provides information and assistance to the parents and carers of Deaf Children.

Ole-Thomas Joergensen

Ole-Thomas has an asset management background from his role as the Managing Director for Wilhelmsen Investments. In Wilhelmsen, Ole held the over-all responsibility for the holding company, four operating businesses, 180 staff, a portfolio of properties and property development assets across most asset classes plus equities/derivatives and cash investments. 

During his 16 years with Wilhelmsen, Ole worked in Norway, Belgium and Australia. 

Ole's expertise is diverse with emphasis on turnaround of under-performing businesses and property assets, coupled with vast M&A experience from the bolt-on acquisition strategies undertaken during his tenure with Wilhelmsen.   

Ole holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Management (BI) and an Executive MBA from Australian Graduate School of Management, University of NSW and University of Sydney. 

Ole-Thomas is Norwegian by birth and has spent most of his Business working in Australia in international shipping, private investment and management roles.

Tony Anderson

Tony commenced his real estate career in 1977 and in 1987 he started the franchise business Laing + Simmons Commercial as the working principal, managing over 70 staff members until he sold the business to global real estate group Cushman & Wakefield in 2008. Tony remained on as managing director of Cushman & Wakefield until 2012.

For over a period of 25 years Tony lead a successful team of brokers within the Commercial / Retail / Industrial sectors of the sales & leasing markets of Sydney and NSW for private, institutional and government clients. Tony was also involved in the business development of the Corporate Real Estate portfolio lease & facilities management business within the Laing + Simmons Asset Management Division.

In 1997, Tony acquired the Laing + Simmons Group from the publicly listed ASX company Mulpha Australia Ltd. This acquisition included some 50 real estate franchise offices in Metropolitan Sydney. The Laing + Simmons Group was sold in 2012 to a Canberra based property group.

With over 40 years’ experience in real estate, Tony is considered one of the industry’s most respected and successful salesmen in the commercial property sector. It is his ‘lateral thinking’ approach to negotiations that has enabled his clients to benefit from intelligent property solutions beyond the expected. Tony is renowned for devising effective marketing & selling strategies for difficult or complex property divestment that have produced results for his clients well above expectation.

Membership & Qualifications: Licensed Real Estate Agent (LREA), Licensed Strata Manager, Fellow of the Australian Property Institute (FAPI), Member of the NSW Real Estate Institute, Member of the Property Council of Australia and Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
